Indian Recipe: Tofu Bhurji

This is a easy Indian Tofu Recipe. Its usually made with Paneer Cheese but can easily be replaced with Tofu.

Ingredients

  • 200g Tofu crumbled
  • 1 Bell Pepper cut
  • 2 Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 green Chili chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 1 handful Coriander chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Instruction

  1. Heat 2 tbsp of Oil on a low flame and fry the Cumin Seeds for about 3 minutes
  2. Add the Onion and fry for 2 minutes
  3. Add green Chili and Ginger and fry 1 more minute
  4. Add Bell Pepper and Tomatoes and fry for 5 minutes.
  5. Add Salt, Chili and Turmeric Powder, mix well and fry for 1 minute
  6. Add the crumbled Tofu, mix very well and fry for 2 more minutes
  7. Mix in the Coriander and turn off the heat
