Filipino Recipe: Palitaw

  • 200g Glutinous Rice Flour
  • 40g shredded Coconut mixed with
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 170 ml Water


  1. Mix 200 g Glutinous Rice Flour and 170 ml Water and knead into a Dough
  2. Take a small piece of the Dough, roll it into a ball and flatten it a bit.
  3. Put the flattened piece of Dough into already boiling Water.
  4. Let them boil a few minutes. They are finished as soon as
    they rise to the surface and float. Then remove them and put aside.
  5. Roll them in a mixture of Coconut and Sugar until they are nicely covered.
