Indian Recipe: Baby Corn Jalfrezi

Baby Corns and Bell Pepper in a spicy tomato sauce. Its a very easy and tasty Jalfrezi.

Ingredients

  • 12 Baby Corn quartered
  • 1 green Bell Pepper cut
  • 3 Tomatoes chopped/li>
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Ginger Paste
  • 2 dried red Chili
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp white Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instruction

  1. Put the Tomatoes into a Blender and grind them into a smooth paste
  2. Heat 2 tbsp Oil and fry the Onions for 2 minutes on low heat
  3. Add Garlic-Ginger Paste and and fry 1 more minute
  4. Add the Chili and fry another minute
  5. Then add the Bell Pepper, mix well and fry 2-3 minutes
  6. Next add the Baby Corn, mix well and fry again 2-3 minutes
  7. Add the Tomato Paste, Cumin, Coriander, Garam Masala, Chili and Salt. Mix well and simmer for about 10 minutes till most of the liquid is evaporated
  8. Add the Vinegar and turn off the heat
