Indian Recipe: Gobi Matar
This is a flavorful Indian Recipe with Cauliflower and Peas. A very delicious vegetable dish. Can be served with roti or rice.

Ingredients
- 1 Cauliflower cut into florets
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 1 cup green Peas (frozen)
- 2 Chili chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 1 Onion chopped
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Bay Leave
- 2 Cloves
- 1 Star Anise
- 1 small Cinnamon Stick
- 1/2 tsp Caraway Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 1/4 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
Instruction
- Heat 3 tbsp Oil on low heat and fry the Bay Leave, Cloves, Star Anis, Cinnamon and Caraway Seeds for 3 minutes
- Add Onions, Ginger and Chili and fry for 2-3 minutes
- Add Garlic and fry 1-2 more minutes
- Add the Tomato, Chili Powder, Turmeric and Coriander, mix well and fry for about 4 more minutes
- Add a bit of Water, Cauliflower, Peas and Salt, mix well and let it simmer covered for 10-15. Check a few times and add a bit more water if necessary.
- Add Garam Masala and let it simmer without a cover until most of the Liquid is vaporized.
