Aloo Palak

Indian Recipe: Aloo Palak

Ingredients

  • 4 Potatoes boiled and cut
  • 2 cups Spinach defrosted or fresh
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 green Chili cut
  • 3 Cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Instruction

  1. Heat 2 tbsp Oil and fry the Cumin Seeds on a low flame for about 3 minutes
  2. Add the Onion and fry 3 more minutes
  3. Then add the Garlic and green Chili and fry for about 1 minute
  4. Add Chili, Turmeric and Coriander Powder and fry again for 1 minute.
  5. Add the Potatoes, mix well and fry for 2 minutes
  6. Add the Spinach and Salt, mix well and fry for 5 minutes.
  7. At last add the Garam Masala and mix well.
