Indian Recipe: Rajma Masala

Ingredients
- 1 cup Kidney Beans (soaked for at least 8 hours)
- 2 Tomatoes chopped
- 2 Onions chopped
- 2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp Oil
- about 5 cups of water
Instruction
- Boil the Beans in about 4 cups of Water until they are soft. For about 60 minutes or longer. Put the Beans with the Liquid aside
- Put the Tomatoes into a blender and grind into a paste
- Heat 3 tbsp Oil on a low flame and fry the Omions for 3 minutes
- Add Ginger-Garlic Paste and fry for 1-2 minutes
- Add Chili, Cumin and Coriander Powder and fry for another 1-2 minutes
- Add the Tomato Paste and fry for about 3 minutes until the Oil leaves the sides
- Add the cooked Kidney Beans with the Liquid, Salt and about 1 cup of water. Let its simmer covered for 20 minutes
- Mash the Beans a bit and add Garam Masala
