Vietnamese Recipe: Tofu in a Tomato-Pepper Sauce
This is a very easy Vietnamese Tofu Recipe. The Tofu comes in a flavorful Tomato-Pepper Sauce and can be eaten with rice.

Ingredients
- 400g Tofu diced
- 5 Plum Tomatoes chopped
- 1-2 red Chili chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic chopped
- 1 Shallot chopped
- a few green Onions cut
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Oil for frying the Tofu
Instruction
- Fry the diced Tofu on a high Flame with enough Oil until they are golden brown and put aside
- Heat 2 tbsp Oil and fry the Shallots, Chili and Garlic for 2 minutes on a medium flame
- Add the chopped Tomatoes and fry for about 10 minutes. Add a tiny bit of water if necessary
- Add the Tofu, Soy Sauce, green Onions and Pepper, mix well and it let it cook for 1 more minute
